Learning Services
EBS’s commitment to diversity includes a commitment to serving students of many different learning profiles. Teachers design all curriculum with differentiation in mind—providing different means of accomplishing a lesson’s objectives to suit different learning strengths and styles—and our average class size of 16 allows for a great deal of personal attention. For students with diagnosed learning needs, or who might benefit from more individualized support, we are pleased to have a dedicated Learning Services team on staff.
The way the Learning Services team works with any individual student at EBS is personalized to that student’s needs, but may include one-on-one coaching and support, in-class check-ins, and meeting with teachers to help develop differentiated assignments to meet accommodations outlined in an IEP. The Learning Services team meets with the family of each student requiring support at the beginning of each school year to create an individualized action plan, and maintains communication throughout the year.
The cost of Learning Services supports is not included in our tuition, but financial assistance may be available if needed.
